The Elite series generators produce hydrogen and oxygen by electrolysis of distilled or demineralised water according to the following chemical equation:
2H2O + ENERGY = 2H2 + O2
This reaction takes place in the electrolytic cell, which is the heart of the generator. Hydrogen and oxygen, produced by the electrolytic dissociation of the water molecule, are separately cooled, dehumidified and made available for use to the respective outlet valves of the system.
Demineralised (or distilled) water and electricity are the only consumptions of the process.
The Elite series of hydrogen and oxygen generators can be used in many areas of industry: manual and automatic braze welding, oxy-fuel cutting, jewellery and silversmithing, heat treatment of metals in controlled atmosphere furnaces, eyewear production, glass processing, electronic industry, food industry, alternator cooling, inflation of meteorological radiosondes, production of hydrogen by means of renewable energies and vehicle refuelling.
